The Widow's Fables

An ideal day for me consists of simple pleasures. It would be just like the day I am having today.

The sun is shining. It is 40 degrees out–for January I will take it!

I have the day off of work. Time to binge watch a show. Candles are burning. The dog is snuggled up by me on the couch.

I’ll be making supper later for my two young adult children. One is a college student who will be going back to school very soon. I treasure the times we are all together. These times mean a lot to me especially since the loss of my husband. Family is a treasure–any day spent with my family is ideal!
